Concord Country Club hosted the New Hampshire Chapter of the NEPGA this week and the weather and golf course were both spectacular. A huge turnout of 160 players turned out for this popular event on the schedule. Many thanks to Brian Moskevich, PGA, and Dave Ousterhout, Superintendent for all their efforts. Also, big thanks to Davis and Towle Insurance and Wilson Golf for partnering with us in this event.

Mitch Jefferson from Rochester CC led the way in the Professional Division firing a 2 under par 68. Jay Pollini (The Oaks) was one back at 69 followed by Bob McGraw (Eagle Mountain House) and Sam Read (Den Brae) at 71.

Jay Pollini (The Oaks) and his team of Tim Melanson, Josh Johnson and Ben Eckstrom took home the Best Ball Gross victory with a 7 under par 63. Todd Rollins (Ready Golf Center) and his team of Evan Rollins, Jim Moodie, and Tim Callahan, tied for 2nd at 64 with Rochester’s Jefferson, Jim Cilley, Josh Parker and Ryan Martel.

On the Best Ball Net Side, Eric Soderman of Hoodkroft and his team of Jim Tokanel, Ryan Curtin and Brian Nadeau put together a round of 11 under par 59 to take the top spot. Five teams tied for 2nd at 61. Those were led by Professionals Phil Davis (Beaver Meadow), Brian Moskevich (Concord CC), Peter Doherty (Atkinson), Emery Chickering (Concord CC) and NEPGA Life Member Dan Gillis.
