As weather has gone so far this year, I guess we can call it a beautiful day that greeted the 27 teams (108 players) at Keene CC for a NHC/NEPGA Pro am. The course is a lush green color and the greens were tough as usual. Today’s team format is 1 BB Gross & 1 BB Net combined, can’t be the same ball.

The pro contest had Jay Pollini of Ridgewood, Sam Read of Den Brae, Taylor Stout of Nashua, and Bailey Nangle of The Vineyard all shot even par 72’s to  tie for first place. Sean Edmonds of Eastman and Barry Pearson shot a 1 over 73 to end up tied for fifth.  Cory Mansfield of Derryfield and John Cleanthes of Haystack came in with 74’s to tie for 7th place. There were four players who shot 75 and tied for 9th place, they were Kyle Puzzo of Worcester, Dan Kish of Atkinson, Vince Molesky of Stonebridge, and Carter White of Laconia.

The team division the home team from Keene led by Nate Faulkner came in at 13 under par. Nate’s team consisted of Ryan Barcome, Connor Salema, and Sam Fuller. Fuller was the star of the team holing out from the fairway on holes 3 and 18, both for eagle. The team from About Golf led by Matt Delois also shot a 13 under par to tie for the top spot. His team was made up of Jim Cilley, Josh Parker, and Dan Doyle.
