Another perfect day for the NHC/NEPGA Pro Am at Keene Country Club. Twenty three PGA Professionals with their amateur partners played a one best ball gross plus one best ball net format. As always the pro’s play a stroke play event between them.
In the Professional division Rich Berberian Jr. of Vesper CC shot a 3 under par 69 to take top honors. Steve Hausmann of Amherst CC, playing for the first time in NH, shot a 2 under 70 to take the second spot. Host Keene PGA Professional Barry Pearson came in with a one under par 71 to end up in third place.
In the team format of 1BB Gross & 1 BB Net combined score the teams from SNHU (PGA Pro Matt Arvanitis, ams Matt Burroughs, Stan Spriiou, & Bill Leberge) and the team from Vesper CC (PGA Pro Rich Berberian Jr., ams Richie Campiola, Griffen Brown, & Jeff Monahan) came in at an impressive 14 under par to tie for the number one spot. The teams from Atkinson CC with PGA pro Dan Kish and the team from Keene CC with PGA pro Eric Sandstrum tied for second with a pair of 11 under par scores.
