Boylston, Mass. – The New England PGA hosted the 2023 Pro-Am Championship at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club on a beautiful Tuesday following Memorial Day. 50 teams came out to play in the 36-Hole, Four-Ball Stroke Play event. The two rounds were held as shotgun starts at 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The NEPGA welcomed one partner to join the day: Cobra-Puma.

The team from Myopia Hunt Club of Greg Kelly, PGA and Matt Sears took home the 2023 NEPGA Pro-Am Championship title, shooting an 11-under, 133 over the 36 holes. The duo carded seven birdies in round one and matched that with another seven in round two to take the top spot.

Three teams took home a share of second place, shooting 10-under, 134s over the 36 holes:The team from Boston Golf Club, Boomer Erick, PGA and Dan Cappucci, the team from Point Sebago Golf Club, Shawn Warren, PGA and Noah Duprey, and the team from Vesper Country Club, Rich Berberian, PGA and Derek Wayman.

Erick and Cappucci carded seven birdies and one bogey over the first 18 before added five more birdies and one bogey in round two to finish 10-under overall.

Warren and Duprey made four birdies in round one, on holes 2, 7, 11, and 18. They went on the card seven birdies and one bogey over the second 18 of the day to also finish 10-under in a tie for second place.

Berberian and Wayman posted five birdies and one bogey in round one, heading into the second 18 at 4-under. They went on to card eight more birdies and two more bogeys in round two to finish 10-under overall for a share of second place.
