QUINCY, Mass. – The New England PGA hosted the 2023 Granite Links Pro-Am on a sunny, warm, late April day in Quincy, Mass on Tuesday. 29 teams traveled to compete in the second Section Pro-Am of the season.

Danny Kish, PGA of The Atkinson Resort & Country Club took home first place in the Professional Division, shooting 69 (-2) on the day. Brent Amaral, PGA of Acoaxet Club and Frank Dully, PGA of Kernwood Country Club claimed a share of second place overall, shooting 71s (E). Sean Duong, PGA (Wedgewood Pines CC), Scott Hickey, PGA (Cyprian Keyes Golf Club), Webb Heintzelman, PGA (Turner Hill Golf & Racquet Club), and Todd Scarafoni, PGA (Bass Rocks GC) shared fourth place overall, shooting 72s (+1) over the 18 holes.

Kish carded two bogeys and one birdie on the front nine. His first birdie of the day came on the par-5 third hole of the day. He went on to card three more birdies on holes 14, 16, and 17 to finish two-under par to claim the Professional Division title.

In team play, Ae Cahill, PGA of Ae Game Golf led his team to a first-place finish in the 2 best ball of 4, 1 Gross + 1 Net score, with a total score of 128 (-14). Cahill’s team consisted of Donald Ward, Lindo Santos, and Miguel Jimenez. Finishing behind them, in solo second play and shooting 12-under (130) was Amaral’s team from Acoaxet Club, which consisted of Tim Vanech, David Patterson, and Thomas Gebhard.
