It was the first event of the fall and a great day for some home cooking at Cochecho Country Club in Dover on Monday. Lucas Langelier, Assistant Professional at the host club, and his team went out in the first group, raced around the course in a little over 3 hours, and posted scores that stood up all day. Langelier fired a 2 under par 68, the only player to break par, and his team shot 9 under 61 in the Best Ball Gross Division to win that as well. Eric Soderman’s Hoodkroft team dinged and donged their way to a 14 under par 56 to snatch a 1 shot victory in the Best Ball Net category. Joining Langelier on the home team were Shawn Piper, Mike McVane and Kurt Eddins, while Soderman’s Hoody team saw Jim Tokanel, Ryan Curtin and Brian Nadeau contribute to the win.
