HARVARD, Mass. — Sean Magarian (Worcester, Mass.) and Emma Abramson (Sandwich, Mass.) hold the 18-hole lead mid-way through the New England Junior PGA Championship at Shaker Hills Country Club in Harvard, Mass.
Magarian posted a 1-under par 71 in the opening round to lead the Boys division, cruising along with 15 pars on the scorecard to go with two birdies and just one bogey. He birdied two of Shaker Hills’ four Par-5s, including the 18th hole to post the only sub-par round of the day.
