Milton, Mass. – The New England PGA hosted the 2022 Pro-Am Championship at Wollaston Golf Club in Milton, Mass. and Blue Hill Country Club in Canton, Mass on Tuesday, May 31. 64 teams came out to play in the 36-Hole, Four-Ball Stroke Play event on a beautiful Tuesday following Memorial Day. The NEPGA welcomed four partners to both courses to join the day: Pinned Golf, Cobra-Puma, Dormie Workshop and DriveForce.

The team from Wollaston GC, Jeff Martin and Tyler Ferrari, PGA took home the 2022 NEPGA Pro-Am Championship trophy, shooting a nine-under, 135 through 36 holes. The duo put up five birdies in their first round of the day played at Wollaston GC. They stayed consistent through the afternoon round, adding six birdies to their scorecard at Blue Hill CC to finish the day at the top of the leaderboard.

Rich Berberian, PGA and Ryan Friel, PGA of Vesper CC finished the day in the second-place spot, shooting a seven-under, 137. The pair started the day at Wollaston GC, going three-under with four birdies through their opening nine holes and two more on holes five and six. They shot four-under in the afternoon at Blue Hill, adding five more birdies on the day.

Two teams finished Just behind the Vesper CC team to tie for third place overall. From Blackstone National GC, Robert Bruso, PGA and Jeff Bastien, PGA  and from Marlborough CC, Greg Farland, PGA and Grace Farland shot  six-under, 138s.

Bruso and Bastien also started the morning at Wollaston GC and headed over to Blue Hill with an even scorecard through the first 18 holes. The added six birdies down the street, four on the front nine, and two on the back to claim the third place spot.

The Farland team led the first round, shooting five-under with six birdies. They shot -1 through the second 18 of the day with four more birdies on the scorecard.
