MARBLEHEAD, Mass- The Massachusetts Chapter held its Inaugural Scholarship Pro-Am on Monday at Tedesco Country Club! This event has been created to help raise funds for the newly created Massachusetts Chapter Scholarship which was awarded to six scholarships to children of PGA Professionals for the first time in 2022.

With the help of Tedesco Country Club, the 15 Massachusetts Chapter Professionals who participated in the tournament, and our Partners, the Chapter raised an estimated $13,000 for the scholarship fund!

With ominous weather forecasts leading up to Monday the event looked to be in doubt. However, the 15 teams were met with tame conditions when they arrived to Tedesco CC and were able to enjoy one of the Chapter’s best tracks.

Frank Dully and his team from Kernwood Country Club shot a score of 12-under 128 to win the 2 BB of 4 competition by six strokes. Dully was also victorious in the Individual Professional contest posting a score of 2-under 68 beating Beverly Golf & Tennis’ David Dionne by 2 shots.
