A cloudy but dry day is good for this year. That is what greeted the 32 teams, 128 players, that traveled to Montcalm Golf Course for the NHC Pro am. Considering the rain that we have dealt with all summer, this is a great day. Today’s team format is 1 bb gross or 1 bb net.

The pro contest saw Jay Pollini of Ridgewood shoot a 3 under par 69 to take the top spot. Pollini is the current points leader in the NHC Player of the Year points race and this helped him increase his lead. Bill Andrews of Portsmouth shot a 2 under 70 to end up 2nd. Mitch Jefferson of Rochester and Cory Mansfield of Derryfield came in with even par 72’s to tie for 3rd. Brett Smestad of Rochester, Todd Rollins of Laconia, and Matt Delois of About Golf all shot 73 and tied for 5th. Sam Cody of Stonebridge shot 74 and ended up 8th. Vince Molesky of Stonebridge and Dan Wilkins of Laconia shot 75’s and tied for 9th. .

In the team BB Gross division the team from Beaver Meadow shoot a great team score of 14 under 58 to walk away with 1st place. The team was led by Josh Lacasse with teammates Tyler Tilton, Matt Levins, and Trevor Moore. Rochester led by Brett Smestad shot a 10 under 62 to come in 2nd. His team was made up of Mike Mahan, Troy Joncas, and Dan Allard.

In the team BB Net division the team from Hoodcroft shot a 12 under 60 to take that division. The team was led by Eric Soderman with his team of Jim Tokanel, Ryan Curtin, and Matt MacDougall.  Two teams shot 11 under to tie for 2nd. They were from Pease with Pro Tim Reise, and Sunapee le by Aaron Kinsley.

We would like to thank Montcalm Golf Course and their staff for hosting todays event. They have had a challenging week and they all came together to provide us with great service.
