The NHC/NEGA started its 2022 Pro Am series at the Oaks Golf Course in Somersworth on Monday April 18th. A cool start greeted the players that were teeing off first. There was a 40 minute frost delay on the cold morning. The sun quickly warmed things up for the 100 participants in today tournament. The course played tough with the speedy greens, cool temps, and a brisk breeze the started around 10am.

The Pro Division saw two first timers on top of the leaderboard. Sam Cody of Stonebridge CC came in with a 1 over par 72 to take the top spot, while Daniel Limauro of Pease and longtime professional Dan Wilkins of Laconia both shot 2 over 73 to tie 2nd place. Mark Newton from Nashua CC had a 75 to take the 4th spot, Todd Rollins of Laconia shot 76 to place 5th, Chris Mudge of Eastman 77 for 6th, Brian Moskevich of Concord 78 for 7th place. Rounding out the top 10 in a tie for 8th were Phil Davis of Beaver Meadow, Greg Sandell of Golf Club of New England, and Nathan Myers of New Ipswich. They all shot 79’s

The Gross Team play saw the team from Ridgewood Jay Pollini, Rochester Mitch Jefferson, Pease Daniel Limauro, and Laconia Dan Wilkins all came in with 3 under pars 68 to tie for 1st. Pollino’s team was Tim Melanson, Josh Johnson, and Steve Jette. Jeffersons team had Ryan Martel, Jim Cilley, and Sean Johnson. Limauro’s team consisted of Paul Marquis, Sam Cresta, and Troy Joncas. Wilkins team was made up of Nick Sceggell, Jeff Joyce, and Hose Diaz.

The Net Team play the team from Derryfield led by PGA Professional, Steve Poremba, came in at 10 under 61 to take first place. He teammates were Tim Leonard, Tc Laikos, and Mark Field. The other team from Derryfield and the team from New Ipswich came in with an 63 to tie for 2nd place. The Derryfield team consisted of Pro Cory Mansfield, Scott Kenniston, Dan Arvanitis, and Demetri Stamouli, while the New Ipswich team was lead by Pro Nathan Myers with teammates Ben McGregor, Greg Titterington, and Peter McAllister.
