A sunny, brisk, windy day greeted the 136 players at Manchester Country Club for the NHC/NEPGA second event of the year. This wasn’t the weather we were hoping for, however it did not dampen the spirits of the golfers. I could see lost of winter hats, hand warmers, and gloves on the golfers. Everyone came in with wind burnt faces as there were gust up to 35 mph with temps in the low 50’s.
The pro division was led by Dan Wilkins of Laconia and Ryan Moseley of Manchester who both shot 73 on this tough scoring day to tie for the top spot. . Brian Moskevich of Concord CC, Steve Hausmann of Amherst, and Justin Diggs of Manchester shot a 74’s to come in tied for 3rd. Rounding out the top ten were: Jason Malcolm of Nashua, Jay Pollini of Ridgewood, and Rico Riciputi of Wentworth by the Sea came in at 76, Nick Desjardins of Nashua had a 77, Phil Davis of Beaver Meadow, Matt Arvanitis from SNHU, and Greg Sandell from Country Club of NE came in with 78’s to tie for 10th. All good scores under the tough playing conditions.
