The NHC/NEPGA made it’s weekly stop at Campbell’s Scottish Highlands Golf Course on Monday May 23. The course was a lush green, the sky was cloudy, and the wind was blowing again. That’s par for the course this year for the NHC events.

The Pro Division saw Sam Cody of Stonebridge make it 3 1st place finishes in the first four events. Sam came in with a 2 under 69 to take the top spot. Rich Berberian Jr. made the trip up from Vesper CC and shot a 1 under par 70 to take 2nd place. Host Professional Geoff Williams had a hot start shooting a 33 on the front side. He did cool off a little on the back and ended up shooting a 1 over 72. Cory Mansfield of Derryfield and Dan Kish of Atkinson also came in at 1 over to tie Geoff for 3rd place. 6th place went to Jon Ellis of The Oaks and Dan Wilkins of Laconia, they came in with 2 over 73’s. There was also a tie for 8th place, Jay Pollini of Ridgewood and Dan Gillis of Nabnasset Lake came in with a pair of 74’s. Steve Lundquist of Apple Hill rounded out the top ten shooting a 76.

The team contest today was 1 BB Gross & 1 BB Net Combined. The team from Campbell’s Scottish Highlands, led by PGA Professional Geoff Williams, came in with an 11 under par 131 to take top honors. William’s team was made up of Brandt Capone, Chad Letourneau, and Tyler Rich. The team of PGA Professional Jay Pollini of Ridgewood with his team of Tim Melanson, Josh Johnson, and Thomas Hickey came in at 10 under 132 to take 2nd place. Thank you to Campbell’s Scottish Highlands Golf Course and their staff for a great day. I heard nothing but positive comments on the course conditions. Next week the series stops at Derryfield CC in Manchester.
