Another great day on the golf course for the participants of the NHC/NEPGA Pro Am held at Beaver Meadow Golf Course in Concord on Monday, June 29th. One hundred and four players came out and were able to dodge the rain that was promised all day. Today’s format was 1 BB Gross or 1 BB net, two separate contests.
A pair of 4 under par 68’s led the way in the Pro division. Dan Wilkens of Laconia and Rich Berberian of Vesper were the ones responsible for those two great rounds. This continues the impressive scoring from the pro division field. Cory Mansfield, Danny Kish, Jay Polinni, and Matt Arvanitis all shot an even par 72 to tie for third place.
In the gross division the teams from Beaver Meadow and Vesper shot 9 under par 63 to tie for the top spot. Phil Davis led the team of Mark Stevens, Jim Cilley, and Eric Saucier, while Rich Berberian lead his team of Jeff Monahan, Corey Hussey, and Vinney Ruggeriero, who shot the 63’s. The teams from Atkinson and SNHU shot a pair of 64’s to tie for third place.
In the net division the team from Hanover led by Alex Kirk with teammates Terry Hall, Tim Winslow, and Jeff Frechette shot a net 59 to take first place. The team from Pembroke Pines with Professional Ben Stone with his team of Zach Buckman, Dana Brearley, and David Stickney shot 60 to take 2nd place. Four teams shot 61 to tie for third place.
