Rutland, VT – A windy day was a big factor in this week’s Pro-Am at Rutland Country Club. The course was playing tough with some fast greens and thick rough. Kellen Peery fought through the tough conditions and posted a round of 74 4 – over par to win this week’s Individual Professional division. In the 2 BB of 4 (Gross + Net) team game, two very competitive teams are at the top of the leaderboard with rounds of 132 8-under par. Braedon Fox and his team from the Vermont Golf Association Nick Ojala, Max Major, and Sam Major had a putt on 18 to win but it did not fall. James LeClair and his team from Golf Garage VT Pat Norden, Pat Pelletier, and Robb Cramer posted the lead early being the third group out.

Kellen Peery (Golf Garage VT) has been playing some very solid golf recently,  coming in second in last week’s Stroke Play event and following it up with a win at this week’s Pro – Am. A tie in second place Eric Lindahl (Montcalm Golf Club) and Mike Zaranek (Brattleboro Country Club) shot 5 – over 75. Fourth place Curt Goldsberry (The Quechee Club) with a round of 6 – over 76. Rounding out the top ten tied for fifth place Dustin Ribolini (The Quechee Club), Susan Fasoldt (Dorset Field Club) with rounds of 7 – over 77. Tied for seventh James LeClair (Golf Garage VT) and Tom Mackey (Ekwanok Country Club) with rounds of 8 – over 78. Solo ninth, Brennan Earls     (Vermont National Country Club) with a round of 9 – over 79. Tied for tenth Patrick Berry (Dorset Field Club), Jason Sherman (The Kwini Club) and Todd Trono (Williston Golf Club) with rounds of 10 – over 80.
