Jay Pollini (The Oaks) does not want this season to end. He capped off his dominant season by posting a 6 under par 66 at Laconia CC on Monday in the NHPGA Chapter’s final event. It was his 6th victory or shared win of the season. Pollini clinched the Davis and Towle Insurance Player of the Year several weeks ago, but left no doubt in his final chapter of 2026, in which he won the award by over 100 points. He will be honored for this success at this week’s Chapter meeting as well as for his victory in the NH Chapter Championship back in August and his Pro Lady Championship in June.
Rochester’s Brett Smestad had the only other sub-par round of the day, firing a 2 under, 70 to take second. Host Professional Chris Houston was third at even par, 72 followed by Vince Molesky (Apple Hill) and Todd Rollins (Ready Golf) at 74.

Danny Kish with his Indoor Golf Club Squad
Smestad also captained his Rochester CC squad to the victory in the Pro-Am team competition. He got help from teammates Dylan Tooch, Theron Alex and Ryan George enroute to a 16 under par combined gross and net score and a 3-stroke margin. Danny Kish’s Indoor Golf Club was second at 13 under followed by Pollini’s Oaks team at 12 under.
