White River Junction, VT – The Vermont Chapter stopped at The Quechee Club yesterday for its second Pro-Am of the 2025 season. Despite chilly conditions, the chapter hosted 27 teams from Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts who teed off the scenic Lakeland course. The grounds crew were on site hours before the first group blowing off greens from heavy rains that have haunted Vermont this May.

The host club, The Quechee Club, fielded three teams led by Dustin Ribolini, Curt Goldsberry, and Thomas Anthoine. But, it was the teams from Eastman Golf Links, led by Chris Mudge, and Williston Golf Club, led by Michael Amendola that tied for top spot with a brilliant nine under par, 135. Eastman Golf Links went four under par on their final two holes to sneak into a share of the top spot! Curt Goldsberry’s team tied for third place along with Mike Zaranek’s Brattleboro CC squad and Erik Lindahl’s Montcalm GC, who finished the day at seven under par, 137.

Both of the Golf Garage teams, led by Kellen Peery and David Jankowski, came in a tie for sixth place with rounds of five under par, 139.
Last week’s low professional, Michael Amendola, came in second place with a strong two under par round of 70, but bogeys on 16 and 18 cost him a chance at the top spot. It was Curt Goldsberry, on his home course, who bested the field with a stellar four under par round. Curt birdied every par 5 on the card en route to a two shot victory. Erik Lindahl and David Jankowski fired 1 over par rounds of 73, some great golf on a chilly day, to tie for third spot. While Chris Mudge snuck into the top five with a round of 75.

It was a wonderful, albeit chilly, day at The Quechee Club. The grounds crew were on hand at the crack of dawn blowing off greens and removing water from the golf course. The course stood up well and provided a fair test to golfers across New England.
Special thanks to Head Golf Professional Dustin Ribolini and his entire team at The Quechee Club for their hospitality, and to Superintendent Brett Bailey for their hard work. The Vermont Chapter is lucky to have The Quechee Club as a host for Pro-Ams and other events. After the Memorial Day break, the Vermont chapter is back in action at Rutland Country Club on June 2nd.
