NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — James Robbins (North Andover, Mass.) and Emma Abramson (Sandwich, Mass.) hold the 18-hole leads mid-way through the NEPGA Junior Tour Avidia Junior Cup. Robbins shot 2-under par 68 to build a one-stroke lead in the Boys Division, while Abramson shot 6-over 76 and will bring a 3-stroke lead into the final round.

Robbins made six birdies on Monday, including four on the front-9, helping him make the turn at 2-under par. He added two birdies and two bogeys on the back to grab the early lead.

Ethan Whitney (Wesminster, Mass.) is one stroke behind Robbins at 1-under par. Brian Glennon (Hingham, Mass.), Matthew Hua (Needham, Mass.), Sean Dully (Salem, Mass.) and Timothy Picard are in a tie for third at 3-over par.

Abramson shot a back-9 36 with a birdie on the par-4 12th hole to help build a 3-shot lead over Mackenzie Whitney (Westminster, Mass.). Keira Joshi (Ashland, Mass.) is in third at 10-over par.

The Avidia Junior Cup will head to The Bay Club at Mattapoisett for the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
