Wow! Two Mondays in a row that the rain has held off and we were able to play our event. The course is in great shape and the greens are rolling smoothly. Today’s team format is 1 BB Gross & 1 BB Net Combined, can’t be the same ball.

In the pro contest Sam Cody of Stonebridge had a stellar round of 68 to take 1st place. He had 5 birdies and just 1 bogie to come in with that 4 under round. Bill Andrews of Portsmouth came in with an even par 72 to end up in 2nd place. Dan Gillis of Nabnessett Lake and Todd Rollins of Laconia shot a 1 over 73’s to end up tie for 3rd. Host Pro from Rochester Mitch Jefferson and Derryfield’s Cory Mansfield came in the 2 over 74’s to tie for 5th. Dan Kish of Atkinson shot 75 to come in 7th place alone. Jim Gunnare of Crystal Lake and Jay Pollini of Ridgewood shot 76’s to tie for 8th. There were 4 players tied for 10th with 77’s. Matt Arvanitis of SNHU, Eric Soderman of Hoodkroft, Brett Smestad of Rochester, and Tom Smith of Atkinson.

In the team format the home teams from Rochester played their home course very well. Jefferson’s team that consisted of Jamie Ferullo, Kory Ferullo, and Cody Stevens came in with a 12 under 132 to take the top spot. The team from Laconia led by Todd Rollins came in with an 11 under 133 to take 2nd place. His team was made up of Evan Rollins, Jim Moodie, and Tim Callahan. The other team from Rochester led by Brett Smestad and the team of Jay Cleveland, Robbie Cretea7, and Ian Christie shot a 10 under 134 to end up 3rd.

We would like to thank Rochester Country Club and their PGA Professionals Mitch Jefferson and Brett Smestad for a great day. The staff was awesome and the course is in great shape. The pins may have been a little tough, but it was the same for everyone!

Thank you to BlueBird Storage for being our partner today. They did enhance the experience for all involved.

We do it again this Thursday with a make up of a rain out. We travel to Beaver Meadow for the Pro/Lady. Next Monday we travel north to Mt. Washington, a favorite of many of the players.
