STOWE, VT – The Vermont Chapter of the New England PGA continued its 2026 tournament season on Monday, June 29th, with the Women’s Pro-Am at The Mountain Course at Spruce Peak.
The event brought Chapter Professionals and amateurs to one of Vermont’s most scenic venues for a Stableford-style competition, with prizes awarded in the Individual Professional, Two Best Ball Gross and Two Best Ball Net divisions.
Host Professional Sean Toof, PGA, made the most of his home-course advantage, taking home Individual Professional honors with 41 points. Curt Goldsberry, PGA, of Quechee Club finished close behind in second with 39 points, while Susan Fasoldt, PGA, and Michael Amendola, PGA, shared third place with 38 points. Kellen Peery, PGA, of Golf Garage VT rounded out the top five with 37 points.
In the Two Best Ball Gross division, Williston GC, led by Todd Trono, PGA, claimed the top spot with 56 points. Stowe CC finished second with 49 points, while Ekwanok CC, led by Tom Mackey, PGA, finished third with 46 points.
On the Two Best Ball Net side, CC of Vermont, led by Josh Treen, PGA, posted 93 points to earn the victory. Stowe CC and Williston GC, led by Trono, finished tied for second with 83 points, while The Club at Spruce Peak finished fourth with 81 points.

The Mountain Course continues to provide a tremendous setting for this event and remains one of the premier stops on the Chapter schedule.
The Vermont Chapter season continues on Monday, July 6th, with the Rutland CC Pro-Am.
