POCASSET, MA- The Cape Cod Chapter opened their 2021 tournament season this Thursday with a Pro-Am at Pocasset Golf Club. Rain threatened the field of 18 teams throughout the event, but ultimately clear skies prevailed, and they were able to enjoy a great day.
In the team format (1 Best Ball Gross + 1 Best Ball Net), PGA Professional Brad Sherman and the 15th Golf Club team won in convincing fashion firing an 18-under 126. Joining Sherman on the team were amateurs Peter Hartmann, Chris Kirrane, and Justin Bissett. They were five shots clear of the 2nd place Bay Club Team lead by PGA Professional John Paesani.
Wyatt Frazier of Woods Hole took home the Individual Professional title with an impressive 2-under 70. Tied for 2nd place was Tom Tobey (Sandwich Hollows GC) and John Paesani (The Bay Club) who both shot 1-over 73.
