QUECHEE, Vt. – The Vermont Chapter celebrated 4th of July weekend with a Pro-Am at the Quechee Club’s Highland Course on Monday.

COMPLETE RESULTS

The host club’s teams celebrated the day in style as they finished in the top two spots in the team 2 BB of 4 (gross + net) competition.  Finishing in first place with a score of 12-under 132 was the team led by PGA Professional Zac Temple.  He was joined by his partners Jack Meehan, Adam Abramson, and Jacob Lowe.  Finishing one shot behind Temple at 11-under was the team led by Quechee’s Director of Golf, TJ Anthoine.

Rounding out the top-3 in the team competition was the team from Burlington Country Club led by David Jankowski, who finished 2 shots back at 10-under par.

The Individual Professional competition saw a hard-fought battle for first place.  Fresh off a second-place finish at the Vermont Stroke Play Championship, David Jankowski was able to secure the win this time by shooting a 2-under par 70.  Jankowski made three bridies on the front-9 to go out in 33 shots, he then followed that up with a 1-over 37 on the back to secure the win.

Finishing in second place was the Quechee Club’s Curtis Goldsberry, who finished one shot off the lead with a 1-under 71.  The highlight of the day for Goldsberry was a 4-hole stretch on holes 2 through 5 where he was 4-under par which included an eagle on the 5th hole.  In third place was CC of Vermont’s David Bennett who shot an even-par 72.
