There was little doubt that 2013 was already a great playing year for Triggs’ PGA Teaching Professional Bob Tramonti prior to the Chapter Championship, hosted by Agawam Hunt Club’s PGA HP & putting guru Norm Alberigo, sponsored by Callaway Golf’s Peter Guild, but the straight-hitting marksman topped off his stellar season with a winning 66-74 effort edging hard charging Matt Doyle’s 73-68, The Misquamicut Club, by one shot. Carnegie Abbey’s PGA Assistant Brendan Ray finished a solid 3rd firing 143 in the 36-hole one day affair. Tramonti’s big win followed low pro honors at the Pawtucket Pro-Am one week earlier sponsored by Matt Howard representing Cleveland/ Srixon where he returned a -1 under par 68 to beat Whitinsville’s PGA Head Pro Chris Hulme by two shots.
