FALL RIVER, Mass. – A trio of PGA professionals: Chip Johnson (Hatherly CC), Zachary Mahan (Pine Brook CC), and Nathan Myers (Ipswich CC) posted scores of 75 on a windy, challenging day at Fall River CC to claim a share of the low professional honors at the 2021 NEPGA Pro-Am on Monday.

Kernwood CC’s Frank Dully, PGA, posted a six-over 76 to finish alone in fourth among professionals.

In the team format, Johnson and the Hatherly CC team posted a score of -5 (135) in the 2 Best Ball (1 gross + 1 net) format to edge host Fall River’s team, led by Dan Shepherd, PGA, by a single shot.

Just three additional Pro-Am teams finished the difficult day under par. Anthony Maki, PGA, and the Franklin CC team finished two shots back of Hatherly CC in third place. Richie Hasenfus, PGA and the Needham GC team finished the day at two-under par while Scott Hickey and the Cyprian Keyes GC squad posted  a one-under 139 to take fourth place.
