Nantucket, Mass. – The New England PGA hosted the Miacomet Pro-Am on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts on Thursday, June 12th for an 11:00AM shotgun start time. 19 teams, led by NEPGA Professionals made the trip from Hyannis to Nantucket via ferry in the 2BB of 4, 1 Gross +1 Net tournament. The Hyannisport Club Team, led by PGA Professional Dave Einstein, PGA, and Kirkbrae Country Club, led by PGA Professional Mike Bradshaw, PGA, tied for first place in the team title, shooting a combined 9-under, 135, beating out the competition by 2 strokes. Einstein was joined by amateurs Clem Lamarre, Jack Lamarre, and Bill Holbrook. Bradshaw was joined by amateurs Tom McCormick, Ed Decristofaro, and Matt Mainelli.

Einstein took home the Individual Professional Division title, shooting a 1-under 71 through 18 holes. Einstein started his day on the 1st tee, shooting -1 on his first nine, and cruised through an even par back nine to complete his round. 

Peter Ruymann, PGA (Marshfield CC) placed second overall, 1 stroke behind Einstein, Matt Lombard, PGA (North Andover CC) and Steve Caruso, PGA (Granite Links GC), shooting an even par 72 on the day.

The teams of Sankaty Head, led by PGA Professional Kolten Bauer, PGA, and Hatherly Golf Club, led by PGA Professional and NEPGA Section President Chip Johnson, tied for second place in the team division, shooting a combined 7-under, 137.
