The Vermont Chapter is excited to announce its team for the Inaugural Pfanner Cup which will be contested at Ekwanok Country Club on October 3rd and 4th.

This Ryder Cup style event is being organized in partnership with the Vermont Golf Association, and will be held annually in the spirit of Dave Pfannenstein who sadly passed away in April of 2020. Dave was an influential member of the Vermont PGA and also served as the Executive Director of the Vermont Golf Association.

The Vermont PGA team will face-off against the Vermont Golf Association team to raise money to benefit the VTPGA and VGA’s Scholarship funds.  In addition to golf, there will be a celebration of life dinner to be hosted at the Taconic Hotel on the evening of October 3rd starting at 7:30pm.

The general public is welcome to attend the celebration of life dinner, you can register by following this link HERE. The cost of dinner will be $100 and seats will be given on a first come first serve basis.

The VTPGA’s team was chosen by taking the top six players and top Senior from the Chapter’s points list as of August 2nd, in addition to five captain’s picks one of which was to be a Senior. The team members are as follows:
