WESTON, Mass. – The 2024 New England PGA season has been full of exciting moments, culminating today in Weston, Mass. with the Avidia Cup Stroke Play Finals at Pine Brook Country Club. Coming into the day there were multiple season-long races up for grabs, as well as a single-day Championship.

Ben Egan, PGA (The Bay Club) and Shawn Warren, PGA (Old Marsh) both shot 1-under, 69s over the first 18 holes to force a playoff for the Stroke Play Series finals. Warren made his way up the 10th hole, hitting an iron off the tee and setting himself up for a close par-putt to clinch the victory.

Warren claimed the Stroke Play Series Finals title, the season-long Avidia Bank Cup points race which is based upon finishes in Stroke Play Series events and Chapter Championships, as well as the Rolex Wogan Player of the Year title with the victory today.

Egan finished in solo second place and Kellen Peery, PGA (Golf Garage VT) shot even-par-70 to claim solo third place in the Stroke Play Series Finals.

The 1st and 10th tee challenge, sponsored by SCNS Sports Foods also came to a close today. Jeff Martin, PGA (Wollaston GC) clinched the 1st tee standings victory finishing at -4 through 4 events. Peery captured the top spot in the 10th tee challenge, finishing at -3 with a birdie on the 10th hole today.
