MANCHESTER, Vt. – Pete Weatherby shot a 3-under 69 at his home club to win the 2022 Vermont Chapter Pro-Am at Manchester Country Club.

Weatherby took home the victory in a tightly contested leaderboard. Vermont National CC’s Pete Scrimgeour finished in second place finishing at 2-under 70, he was followed by David Jankowski of Golf Garage VT who shot a 1-under 71.

Weatherby started the front nine on fire, making birdie on three of his first four holes ultimately going out in 3-under 33. On the back nine Weatherby made bogeys on holes 10 and 16, each time immediately responding with a birdie on the following hole. His even-par 36 on the back kept him at 3-under for his round and secured the one-shot victory.

In the 2 BB of 4 competition Jankowski and the Golf Garage VT team won by a 6-shot margin with a score of 19-under 125. Jankowski and his teammates Clay Hatfield, Austin Giroux, and Brian Pelkey combined for seven birdies and five eagles without recording a single bogey.

In second place was Toby Young and Williston GC, followed by a three-way tie for 3rd by Ekwanok CC (Tom Mackey), Manchester CC (Weatherby), and CC of Vermont (David Bennett).
