Whitinsville, Mass. – The New England PGA hosted the Whitinsville Pro-Am in Whitinsville, Massachusetts on Monday, June 16th for a 7:30am and 1:00pm shotgun start time. 26 teams, led by NEPGA Professionals made the trip to Central Mass to compete in the 2BB of 4, 1 Gross +1 Net tournament. The Weston Golf Club Team, led by Assistant Professional Kyle Puzzo, took home first place in the team division, shooting a combined 8-under, 132, beating out the competition by 4 strokes. Puzzo was joined by amateurs Steve Connolly, Robert O’Neil, and Mike Kroll.

Puzzo took home the Individual Professional Division title, shooting a 1-under 69 through 18 holes. Puzzo cruised through the tough greens and fairways to notch 3 birdies during his round and being the only Professional under par in the field. 

Jeff Monteleone, PGA (Bellevue GC) placed second overall, 2 strokes behind Puzzo, shooting a +1, 71 on the day.

The team of Golf Pro Delivered, LLC, led by PGA Professional Paul Rezuke, PGA, and the Worcester Country Club team, led by PGA Professional Bob Bruso, PGA tied for second place in the team division, shooting a combined 6-under, 134.

Cleveland/Srixon Golf provided a Closest to the Pin Challenge on the 2nd hole for the entire field. Congratulations to Kroll and Pat Furnari (Thomson CC) for winning and receiving brand new wedges!
