Fairway4Friends is a player performance-based fund drive to get NEPGA Junior TOUR members involved in community outreach. This will help juniors gain a greater sense of pride and accomplishment beyond their performance during Junior Tour events. Fairway4Friends supports the New England PGA Foundation and its initiatives including raising funds and awareness for our junior tour programs and scholarship through a unique playing opportunity utilizing events on the junior tour schedule.
GREAT FOR COLLEGE AND SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS
Playing golf can be both fun and competitive, but sometimes you want to play for more than yourself. Many Junior TOUR members are still learning and developing the skills necessary to reach milestones on the course. Which is why the Junior TOUR scholarship was created to provide the necessary resources for the next generation. By focusing on fundamentals, juniors will directly enhance their skills in specific areas without the forefront pressures of their score or competing against others to win an event.
In accordance with our mission, to aid this initiative the participant must be an active New England PGA Junior TOUR member for the current season. Additionally, this initiative is open to juniors ages 9-18.
The junior must play in a minimum of 5 events. There are 130 unique fundraising playing opportunities throughout the entire season (April to August) and juniors can continue to gather pledges until the event schedule is completed. In order to qualify, Juniors must play in a minimum of 5 events.
The participant’s job is to utilize their connections to gather pledges towards their fundraising efforts utilizing the website platform. Juniors will ask family, friends, and neighbors for pledges throughout the Junior TOUR season. Donors may pledge a dollar amount per birdie or simply donate a flat donation towards your goal. After the 2025 Junior TOUR season is complete, birdies are totaled and donors’ credit cards will be charged. After all donations have been collected, a winner will be named.
The winner of the 2025 Fairways4Friends program is the individual who raises the most amount of money, no matter how many birdies are scored throughout the entire season.
Are you afraid that you won’t make many birdies? Donors can make flat donations too!
It is free to sign up and upon signing up the junior will receive a Fairways4Friends ball marker as well as marketing materials to start fundraising!
